Altitude Trampoline Park in Huntsville has reopened following a significant remodel, marking the occasion with a three-day event from April 4 to 6. The park, at 6275 University Dr. NW, Suite 14, now presents a redesigned layout and a much larger lineup of activities aimed at visitors of all ages.

The reopening weekend included a 6×6 dodgeball tournament, a Ninja Course Challenge and GLOW Nights with a live DJ. Families could also enjoy face painting and balloon artists. The draw, however, extended beyond the programming: the park unveiled more than 10 new attractions along with a modernized look.

Altitude now offers 25 attractions, up from 15 before the renovation. Among the additions are the Strike Tower, a Stunt Jump Airbag and a Two-Story Ninja Course, as well as a Trapeze Airbag and a gamified version of dodgeball. The new design emphasizes open sight lines and safety, and includes a café where parents can relax while watching their children. The larger footprint of attractions required additional staff and careful planning.

"We are incredibly excited to unveil the transformed Altitude Trampoline Park to the Huntsville community," said owner Ben Thomas. He described the relaunch as evidence of the park's commitment to providing memorable experiences for families.

Thomas told the Huntsville Business Journal that the most exciting new feature is the Toddler Zone, built for children from six months to four years old. He noted that trampoline businesses typically cannot serve children under five. The new space lets parents stay within a couple of feet while the children work on balance and build confidence.

The park first opened in 2017, and Thomas said renovations had been under consideration for some time. He said the work would probably have happened sooner without COVID, though the delay gave him a chance to learn what the market wanted. After attendance plateaued in 2022, he spent roughly six to twelve months planning the remodel.

The overhaul itself was finished in just a few weeks, and the park stayed open throughout. "We remodeled section by section, working through the night to make it happen," Thomas said.

Early results appear encouraging. Thomas said attendance is up about 20% week over week since the reopening, following a steady climb from 2017 until the 2022 plateau.

Although he owns multiple locations, Thomas said community ties remain central. He said he knows most of his members personally and credited them with keeping the business going for the past seven years.

Altitude Huntsville is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monthly memberships start at $10.99 and allow daily visits. More information is available at altitudetrampolinepark.com/locations/huntsville.
