Christone “Kingfish” Ingram’s debut album, Kingfish, reached number one on the Billboard Blues Chart and the Billboard Heatseekers chart upon its release in May 2019. The record also earned a nomination for Best Traditional Blues Album at the 62nd Grammy Awards.
The guitarist and singer from Clarksdale, Mississippi, first encountered the blues genre around age five after watching a PBS documentary on Muddy Waters. He has since performed alongside artists such as Buddy Guy, Keb Mo, and Ally Venable, as well as sharing stages with the Tedeschi Trucks Band and Samantha Fish.
Ingram is currently touring for The Hard Road Tour. He will perform at The Ritz Ybor in Tampa on November 5, 2026. His live lineup includes Paul Rogers on bass, Christopher Black on drums, and Deshawn Alexander on keyboards and organ.
Alexander handles both the Hammond B-3 and piano, providing the harmonic foundation for Ingram’s lead guitar and vocals. The band’s configuration allows for a full blues sound during the live set.
Billboard previously described Ingram as a blues prodigy. His upcoming performance marks one stop on his current national tour.
