The Port Charlotte-based cabinet maker is absorbing the cost of painted finishes and premium drawer hardware for contracts signed before year-end.

Red-Jay Cabinets has introduced a temporary pricing adjustment for its Southwest Florida customers. The family-owned business, which has operated in the region since 1984, announced that it will waive the surcharge for painted cabinet finishes. This change applies to all new proposals signed by December 31, 2026.
The promotional package also includes five-piece drawer fronts in the standard pricing structure. Previously, these specific hardware components required an additional line-item cost. By integrating these items into the base quote, the company aims to simplify the budgeting process for homeowners and contractors.
The announcement follows the grand opening of the company's new design center in Port Charlotte. The facility, located at 1109 Tamiami Trail, Unit 4, consolidates the product selection under one roof. Visitors can now view cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, tile, and luxury vinyl plank flooring in a single location. The space allows clients to review kitchen and bath renderings while selecting from various finishes and styles.
Company representatives stated that the positive response to the grand opening event influenced the decision to offer these incentives. They cited the attendance of local leaders, contractors, and homeowners as a driver for the immediate value proposition. The firm serves builders, remodelers, and individual homeowners in Charlotte County and neighboring areas.
Red-Jay Cabinets continues to handle the installation of every project it sells. The company maintains a warranty on its work and emphasizes a hands-on approach to project planning. The new location is open for walk-ins and scheduled consultations.
